About the Event
Looking for a family-friendly way to celebrate Juneteenth? Join Raise a Child of the Carolinas and Mecklenburg County Sugaw Creek Park and Recreation as we host the Sugar Creek Family & Friends Juneteenth Festival.
This event is free to attend. There will be shopping and food offered by local vendors. Entertainment from various local groups, family fun games: Father vs Family Kickball - Family Field Day - Basketball shoot out, and fun, fun, fun.
There is no cost to attend; however, the organizer of the event Raise a Child of the Carolinas is a nonprofit celebrating 5yrs of serving children in the Charlotte community. Donations of any amount are welcome to keep their programs in operation.
